WHAT IS SKETCHES ?
SKETCHES FROM THE NATIONAL LAMPOON was a presentation of some of the funniest sketches collected from the vast comedy archives of The National Lampoon -- from its magazine, to The National Lampoon Radio Hour, to the albums, to sketches from other live shows -- produced for the stage by the co-founder of the National Lampoon, Matty Simmons.

The show also contained some new songs never heard before written by Lampoon alumnus Richard Levinson. PAT TOWNE was a performer in the piece as well as the show's director.
The production was a tribute to the history of the Lampoon and was the final show produced Mr. Simmons before his death.
