WHAT IS POOL BOY ?
POOL BOY is a new play by Wendy Hopkins about a a woman who is desperate for human contact while she house sits up on Mulholland Drive during the isolation of COVID-19. When she meets up with the longer-in-the-tooth-than-she-imagined pool 'boy' who could care less about connecting with ANYONE, her pool boy fantasies take a different turn.

POOL BOY was among the very first theatre productions in Los Angeles following the COVID crisis and was the first show to deal directly with the feelings of isolation and loneliness that pandemic brought.

The stage was an actual pool at a house on Mulholland Drive and the audience sat in the open air around the pool to watch the show at sunset.
PAT TOWNE starred as the Pool Boy, Bill, with Laura Niemi as Glenn the house sitter. It is produced by the Lost Angels Theatre Company under the direction of Scott Cummins. www.lostangelstheatre.com
