WHO IS
PAT TOWNE
Pat Towne has been working in the entertainment industry for over 35 years. But really he's a guy who loves theatre...ALOT. And he likes to do that more than anything, but he moved to Hollywood from Chicago because he heard that's where all the money is.
So he moved to Hollywood and promptly devoted most of his time and energies to the theatre community of Los Angeles having grossly misunderstood that the money of the Hollywood doesn't flow through the small 99seat theaters of LA.
Undeterred, Mr. Towne continued to build his reputation and experience in both the professional theatre community of LA and the delicious landscape of the Hollywood, and is now falling in love with the sound of his own voice as he expands his career into the voice overs, the animation, and the books on tape.
Please feel free to book Mr. Towne for any show business 'gigs' that pay well by contacting what they call his 'representatives' at any of the links that look like they might link to something like that anywhere you can find them on this lovely, handmade website.
Thanks for visiting, and please 'like' and 'subscribe' to all things you're supposed to as soon as Mr. Towne figures out what they are.

![This is the highest geographical point in my home town of Indianapolis Indiana. It was my mom’s favorite place in the city.
What it is is the final resting site of one Mr. James Whitcomb Riley - The Hoosier Poet. 1849-1916. Creator of the character Lil Orphant Annie - a servant girl who loved to tell scary stories to the children in her care.
My mom… loved… LOVED… L. O. V. E. D. James Whitcomb Riley and read his poems and stories to me constantly as a little kid. We went to his birthplace in Greenfield, and to his house on Lockerbie Street —- that he wrote a poem about! in Indy. She wanted me to know this man and his work and that he was a HOOSIER.
She brought me here many times, she brought Brett once too - almost like an initiation into the family…and as well can remember, we would really just hang out, look over the city, and be at peace for a little while.
Passing through me Hoosier state on the way north i decides to bring a little bit of mom along so she could hang out with James forever.
Rounding the shrubs to find the staircase up i had forgotten that sitting among the columns was a statue of a little girl reading a book. For a freaky fifth of a second i thought it was a ghost - and I don’t believe in ghosts - but i wouldn’t put it past my mom…
But no, it was Annie reading a scary story. And the page read, ‘And the Gobble-ins’ll git you ef you don’t watch out!’ And I heard it in my mom’s voice the same way as did as a kid.
Stood up, put a couple coins by Annie (as you do, and the coins go to the Riley Children’s Hospital where my mom volunteered), let mom have a seat nearby, turned back to look, and then felt #goodbyetimes…
Goodbye mom, goodbye LA, goodbye place I was born.
I’ll miss you all so much cause so many times we played were the best times in my life. Be well. May the wind be at your back, and I hope the last time I saw you wasn’t the last time I’ll see you.
